  1. Ha— once again you came up with a clever tease for a special guest post. You have been keeping Monday's post a secret from me— I haven't seen it yet— but your BAZINGA clue gave it away. You have a good eye to notice that the writing on the chalkboard— turned upside down and backward— looks like a math equation. The timing of Monday's post will be perfect and I can’t wait to see it!

  6. Gosh, for a minute I thought I was reading something nightmarish considering it seemed to involves math. Thank goodness I will not undergo any math test of which I would fail but I am looking forward to nerdy Sheldon introducing some music. Glad you are safe and sound and that this other hurricane will not be hitting your area like it has the islands once again

    1. Hi, Birgit!

How are you dear friend? Thank you very much for risking all to come and find out what my tease is all about. Your are half right, BB. The cat's out of the bag. Sheldon is Monday's guest host and he will be spinning tunes for you, but he will also be giving you a mind boggling math test. Sharpen your pencil and prepare to do some addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. :)

Yessum, at this point in time it appears that Maria's track will keep it offshore in the Atlantic, but these storms have a bad habit of changing their minds (see Irma) and it is still too early to breathe easy.

I hope you have a great weekend and hope to see you Monday when Sheldon Cooper takes over as guest host.

      Thanks, BB!

  7. Ok, I'm just going to jump in with both feet! I am clueless, not too bad at math, and probably watch the wrong TV shows, lol!

But, since you always make good on your scare tactic promises, I will show up! Glad to know you are still safe and sound, Shady! Have a great weekend! ♫

    1. Hi, Suzanne!

Welcome, dear friend! Come on in... the water's fine (Shady's gone off the deep end! :)

Nay Nay Nay! There's no such thing in Shady's book as watching the right or wrong TV shows (there are only correct and incorrect shows :)

What??? Are you saying you don't watch How To Get Away With Murder or Big Bang Theory? Well, in Monday's post, along with math, you will learn a little about the BBT's main character Sheldon Cooper. I hope you enjoy.

Yessum, so far so good as far as Maria is concerned, but the nasty 2017 hurricane season still has a long way to go.

Thanks for taking a peek at my promo, dear friend Suzanne. I wish you and Scootie a safe and happy weekend!

  8. Ooooh, okay! My son lives for the Big Bang Theory! I even bought him box set season DVD's at Christmas for that show-you would think I would know who anyone is, but I just can't make myself look, lol! I know what the characters look like, but I can't call them by name! This will be interesting, Shady! I will keep an open mind.

Thank you for clarifying the show. We are supposed to have a cooler week coming up, they had better pull through, and send some your way also. See you later! ♫

    1. Hi, Suzanne!

Cheer up, dear friend. Over the years I have posted parodies and tributes to more than a dozen of the my favorite TV series. I have found surprisingly few friends who watch them or have even heard of them, even shows that are long running and top rated like The Big Bang Theory.

A cooler week? Now I'm the one who's stumped. What's that? :) It is still unpleasantly hot and humid here, but at least we aren't sweating out an assault by another hurricane at the present time.

Thank you again for joining the fun, dear friend Suzanne. Have a safe and happy weekend!

    1. Hi, Gayle! Hi, Winston!

You got it right, dear friend. Sheldon of The Big Bang Theory will be hosting SDMM next Monday and he will have a tough math problem for you to solve. Therefore I highly recommend that you spend the weekend cramming for the test. :)

I can't wait for the new season of How To Get Away With Murder. You can catch episodes you missed on Hulu.

Thank you for taking a look at my teaser post, dear friend Gayle!

    1. Hi, Cathy!

Thanks for joining me on your weekend, dear friend. I'm always happy to see you!

I'm glad you enjoyed my promo hyping Monday's main event when I will turn things over to my guest host. Hopefully he will entertain you and stimulate your brain with a tough math problem. Until then, have a safe and happy weekend, dear friend Cathy!

    2. Tom,

A tough math problem is anything beyond 1+1. lol Math is not my strong suit. I always wanted the ability to pull numbers off the top of my head and while I admit I've improved over the years I'm no where as good as DH. All I can say is I'm glad I have a calculator at my finger tips on my phone which takes the brain strain out of things for fast computing. Hey, brain strain only makes my eye brows burrow and forehead scrunch. I don't need anymore wrinkles...I mean character lines showing. Have a good day!

    3. Hi again, dear Cathy!

My goodness, you are an early riser, just like me on most days. Thanks for coming back to chat with me about the subject of math. I was pretty good at arithmetic in elementary school but struggled in high school when I needed to take advanced algebra, trig, analytic geometry and college level calculus. I was lost and even my slide rule couldn't help me! :)

Thanks again for joining me, dear friend Cathy!

I am very happy to see you again, dear friend. Welcome back to the blog world!

Yessum, "How to" counts, and now that you have solved that puzzle I invite you back here tomorrow when my mystery guest will pose a difficult math question for you to solve. (He will also spin some cool tunes. Yessum... it's a post filled with rhythm... and algorithm! :)

Thanks again for taking a peek at the post, dear friend Michele, and have a great week ahead!
